Osprey Meadows Golf Course

Donnelly, Idaho

The Robert Trent Jones III Championship Golf Course at Tamarack Resort was once recognized as the top-ranked golf course in Idaho and named one of the Best New Courses in America before financial challenges led to its closure for five years. Dustin was part of the resort during its peak and was later brought back as Director of Golf to help lead the revitalization of Osprey Meadows.

The Robert Trent Jones II Design Team returned to reimagine the course in alignment with Tamarack Resort’s new vision. Long carries over native areas were reduced, landing areas were expanded, and new holes were created to accommodate future real estate development. New tee boxes, bunkers, greens, and irrigation systems were also redesigned and constructed with a limited crew.

Working closely with the golf course superintendent and operations team, Dustin took a hands-on role in bringing Osprey Meadows back to life — assisting with everything from tree removal and turf preparation to course conditioning and operational readiness ahead of reopening.

At the same time, he oversaw all golf operations, including budgeting, staff hiring and training, merchandise purchasing, member and guest programming, and tournament development. He also collaborated with resort sales and marketing teams to help drive group business, events, and overall golf engagement at the property.

Project Scope: Golf Operations Leadership, Budget Development, Equipment Selection & Purchasing, Staff Hiring & Training, Simulator Integration, Sales & Marketing Collaboration, Tournament Development, Resort Operations
